yes, I see that error right there, and I don't care
Specialty/Adjustable Control Arms, Steering Angle Kits etc.

If you are not interested in drifting your car seriously - as in, competitively - stop reading now and move on to another section of the guide. Adjustable control arms may be relatively inexpensive as suspension upgrades go (or not, depending on the brand) they are a very large inconvenience and expense to align & maintain for someone who expects to daily drive their car - I say that because aligning a car with a full set of adjustable control arms costs alot more than your garden variety alignment job.

And lets not forget, most alignment shops will not even touch cars that have custom gear like this; typically to align your car with adjustable arms and setup for drifting properly, you'll be taking your car to an offroad shop with a roll-on alignment rig, a few paid professional Asians who do this sort of thing, etc.

Steering angle kits are replacement components for the OEM steering rack arms, pivots etc which will allow your front wheels to pivot farther side to side, e.g. a higher maximum steering deflection angle is achieved in both directions. This is often beneficial for most drift drivers these kits cause the wheels to steer farther, faster, with less steering wheel input; this is desirable when you want to violently break traction of the rear wheels at will. This is incredibly bad for anyone hoping to road race/track or otherwise enjoy the car on a normal high-speed course with turns. This is a drift-only modification that can also noticably affect steering input on the road and you get to adjust yourself accordingly, so buckle up.

Available Products

Steering angle kits are a build-it-yourself endeavor at the moment, as KP Race of Washington state went out of business some time ago, and while a kit may/may not be still available from the gaggle of gooks known as "Synchro-G" (a pro Korean drift team) it's questionable whether or not you want to shell out a bunch of money to build and ship what may or may not work on your car.

In a nutshell, please learn to drift your car with an OEM steering assembly, buck up and quit whining about your lack of skill if you can't initiate quickly. The end.

Cusco manufactuers a fine set of adjustable control arms for the car - they make a complete set both front and rear. The arms of course are all available individually, and yes they do come finished in Cusco's high-priced metallic blue finish. Cusco's parts are high-quality and quite expensive. Most resellers do not list these as they are an uncommon item; call to check availability wherever you shop.

PoweredbyMAX USA makes a set of arms as well, which complements their bonkers suspension gear nicely on a completely drift-ready car. Also very expensive, but high quality. One big plus about buying from PBM is that the people who design/setup these products speak English and live in the United States, so if you are also an imperious United Statesian, you may rest comfortably knowing where to get help with your high-priced products when you need it (and you will).
